Gavin Palmer

Gavin Palmer currently serves as the Head of Health & Safety at Lindner Prater Ltd since February 2020. Prior to this role, Gavin worked as the QSHE Manager at Astins Ltd from March 2012 to February 2020, where significant achievements included over 5.7 million man hours between reportable incidents, a 39% reduction in waste, and a 78% improvement in key business quality measures. While at Astins, initiatives included lobbying for the first use of 900mm boards in the UK, founding a plasterboard handling working group, and spearheading a large-scale trial on the use of exoskeletons. Additionally, Gavin played a crucial role in implementing the Total Quality initiative across the business at Astins, focusing on accountability, behavioural quality, and labour master management. Earlier in their career, Gavin was the Group H&S Manager at Brett Group from January 2000 to March 2012.
