Tamara Oest

Tamara Oest has over a decade of experience in safety and compliance management roles in the transportation industry. Tamara most recently served as the Environmental Health Safety Director at Heartland Home Services, where they developed and implemented a progressive safety culture. Prior to that, they worked as the Safety and Compliance Manager at Western Logistics for eight years, overseeing the transportation compliance department. Tamara also held the position of Manager, Safety and Compliance at ALTL Trucking, Inc., where they implemented a FMCSA training program and developed a mediation program. Tamara began their career as the Training and Development Manager at Equity Transportation, where they managed recruitment and training of commercial drivers. Throughout their career, Tamara has consistently demonstrated strong leadership skills and a focus on ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Tamara Oest completed their Bachelor of Arts in Drama and Special Education Development at the University of Windsor in 1997. Tamara then pursued their Doctor of Law degree in Labor and Industrial Relations at Thomas Cooley Law School, which they completed in 1999.
