Head Responsible Sourcing at Lindt & Sprungli

Benoit Gauthier, MSc has a strong background in procurement and sustainability. Benoit is currently the Head of Responsible Sourcing at Lindt & Sprüngli, where they are responsible for ensuring responsible and ethical sourcing practices. Prior to this, they worked as a Procurement Manager Contractor Services at ADM, where they managed procurement operations for contractors. Benoit also has experience working at Philip Morris International as a Manager of Procurement Sustainability and Environment, where they focused on CO2 emissions reduction and deforestation prevention in supply chains. Earlier in their career, they held various procurement roles at Volvo Group Trucks Technology, including Global Procurement Category Manager and Purchasing Projects Coordinator. Benoit holds an MSc degree and has consistently achieved targets in their roles.

Benoit Gauthier, MSc, has a diverse education history. Benoit obtained a Master in Management degree with a specialization in Supply Chain Management & International Procurement Strategy from Grenoble Ecole de Management from 2004 to 2006. Prior to that, they completed a Master of Science (MS) in Private Law at University College Cork from 2003 to 2004. Their undergraduate studies include a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Private Law from Université Jean Moulin (Lyon III) from 2000 to 2003.

In addition to their formal education, Benoit Gauthier has also obtained certifications in enterprise analytics excellence from The Hackett Group in November 2020.
