Lisa Vargas, SHRM-CP has over 30 years of work experience in the Human Resources field. Lisa started their career in 1988 as a New Business Administrator/Sales Assistant for Guardian Life. In 1995, they became an Underwriting Assistant for Sidney A Sass Associates. In 2004, they worked as a Training Assistant/Administrative Assistant for Affinity Health Plan. From 2007 to 2019, they worked for Church Pension Group in various roles, including Training and Development Coordinator, where they facilitated and managed onboarding programs, supervised HR interns, prepared year-end budget reports, and managed training classes and events in the LMS system. In 2019, they joined Linea Solutions, Inc. as a Sr. Training Specialist/Training Manager and Training and Development Specialist.

Lisa Vargas, SHRM-CP holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Concordia College, Bronxville, NY, which they obtained in 2009. Prior to that, they earned an Associate's degree in Business Administration and Management, General from The College of Westchester in 2007. In addition, they hold a number of certifications, including an Adobe Captivate Certificate from the Association for Talent Development (ATD), obtained in December 2021; an Instructional Design Certificate from ATD, obtained in December 2019; a Level 1 Gamification Apprentice Certification from Sententia Gamification, obtained in November 2019; a Training Certificate Program from ATD, obtained in May 2018; and their SHRM-CP certification, obtained in October 2019.
