Central Oregon-School Suicide Prevention and Wellness Coordinator at Lines for Life

Ashley Meilahn, MS has a diverse work experience spanning a variety of roles and industries. Starting in 2021, Ashley has been working as the Central Oregon-School Suicide Prevention and Wellness Coordinator at Lines for Life. Prior to that, from 2017 to 2021, they served as the Community Connections Coordinator at REACH. In 2016, Ashley worked as a Child, Family, and Individual Therapist at The Child Center. Before that, they worked as a Crisis Therapist at Lutheran Community Services Northwest in 2015 and at Klamath Basin Behavioral Health from 2014 to 2015. From 2013 to 2014, they held the roles of Residential Monitor at Academy At Sisters and Mental Health Counselor at Bridges Academy. Ashley's earlier experiences include working as a Wilderness Field Instructor at Second Nature-Cascades from 2008 to 2010, and as a Ropes Course Facilitator and Climbing Wall Specialist at University of Wisconsin-Stout-Stout Adventures from 2004 to 2008. Ashley also served as a Youth Climbing League Coach at University of Wisconsin Stout-Stout Adventures from 2005 to 2008. Ashley Meilahn, MS, completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Human Development and Family Studies, General from the University of Wisconsin-Stout. This academic endeavor lasted from 2004 to 2008. Ashley further pursued their education at Oregon State University, where they obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Mental Health Counseling/Counselor. This occurred between 2010 and 2014.
