Dominik Lewy

Dominik Lewy has a diverse work experience in data science and analytics. Dominik is currently working at Lingaro as a Principal Data Scientist. Prior to this, they held various roles at Lingaro including Team Leader in Artificial Intelligence & Data Science, Senior Data Scientist, Lead Data Scientist, and Data Scientist - Consultant. In these roles, they worked on projects such as shipment forecasting and embedded analysis for FMCG companies.

Additionally, Dominik served as a Guest Lecturer at Politechnika Warszawska, where they conducted courses on machine learning algorithms and machine learning using R and Python. Dominik also worked at Salvor Sp. z o.o. i Wspólnicy Sp. kom. as a Researcher & Excel Specialist, where they researched information and developed Excel files and databases.

As an intern at Citi, Dominik was responsible for finding discrepancies between two systems used at the bank and gained knowledge of backend processes. Dominik utilized Excel extensively for this internship project.

Dominik Lewy has a strong educational background in the field of informatics and quantitative methods in economics. Dominik obtained a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Informatics from the Warsaw University of Technology, where they studied from 2017 to 2022. Prior to that, they earned a Magister (Mgr) degree and a Licencjat (Lic.) degree in Metody Ilościowe w Ekonomii i Systemy Informacyjne from the SGH Warsaw School of Economics, completing their studies in 2016 and 2014 respectively.

In addition to their formal education, Dominik Lewy has also acquired various certifications, including the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)® from the Project Management Institute in 2017 and the Fundamentals of Accelerated Data Science with RAPIDS from NVIDIA in 2022. Dominik has also completed several data science courses through Coursera, covering topics such as data science, machine learning, statistical inference, and more.
