Lauren Maslen

Lauren Maslen has extensive work experience in various roles. Lauren worked at Lingo Live from 2015, where they provided coaching sessions to employees of multinational corporations, specializing in writing. Lauren also designed business writing courses and programs for top Fortune 500 companies. In addition, they led the company's writing initiative and achieved numerous goals with their clients. Lauren received the Teacher of the Year award in 2016. Lauren also worked as an Editor at ProductiveGrowth starting in 2020 and as a Beta Reader at The Spun Yarn starting in 2018. Prior to that, they worked as a Freelance Writer and had their work published in various publications. Lauren started their freelance photography career in 2010 and had their work published in Colorado media outlets. Lauren also briefly worked as a News Reporter at Alaska Broadcast Communications, Inc. in 2015. Lauren gained experience as a Teaching Assistant and Communications Assistant at the University of Colorado Boulder from 2013 to 2014. Lauren also had an editorial internship at Yoga Journal in 2014 and taught at Colingo in 2013. Furthermore, they interned as a Social Media Intern at Nathan Yip Foundation in 2013.

Lauren Maslen's education history begins with their Bachelor's degrees. Lauren attended the University of Colorado Boulder from 2007 to 2011, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Broadcast Journalism and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Film/Cinema/Video Studies. In 2009, they also studied at the University of Sussex, earning a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Communication and Media Studies for the duration of one year.

After completing their undergraduate studies, Lauren pursued a Master of Arts (MA) in Journalism at the University of Colorado Boulder from 2013 to 2014. During this time, they also obtained additional certifications. In April 2013, they obtained a 200 Hour Yoga Teaching Certification from the Yoga Alliance. Additionally, in February 2011, they received a TESOL/TESL/TEFL Certification from Oxford Seminars.

Furthermore, in March 2023, Lauren obtained an AP Stylebook Workshop Certificate from The Associated Press.
