Leadership Coach, Independent Contractor at Lingo Live

Sarah Engel has a diverse work experience spanning various fields. Sarah is currently working as an Organizational and Employee Development Trainer at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, where they are responsible for implementing DEI and OED initiatives for the Department of Surgery. Sarah creates training content, programs, and opportunities for professional development and collaborates with different committees and departments to further the department's initiatives.

Sarah is also an independent contractor Leadership Coach at Lingo Live, where they provide coaching services. Prior to their current roles, they worked as a Gallup-Certified Clifton Strengths Coach, offering private coaching, team workshops, and conference presentations. Sarah also worked as an Admissions Counselor at Regis University, recruiting students for the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program and collaborating with the admissions team.

Additionally, Sarah has experience in the healthcare industry. Sarah worked as a Community Relations Representative and Director of Professional Relations at Odyssey Healthcare and Hospice of St. John, where they advocated for the Medicare hospice benefit and admitted terminally ill patients into hospice care. Sarah also served as a Practice Assistant at the University of Colorado Hospital Pain Management Clinic.

Sarah Engel completed their Master of Arts (MA) in Leadership Development from Regis University between 2012 and 2014. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Communication Arts and Theater from Indiana University South Bend from 1992 to 1996. In addition to their formal education, Sarah has also obtained various certifications. Sarah became a Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach in August 2015. Sarah has also completed several online courses, including "Inclusive Leadership: The Power of Workplace Diversity" from Coursera in May 2023, and several courses from LinkedIn, such as "Coaching and Developing Employees," "Collaboration Principles and Process," "Creating a Culture of Collaboration," "Increasing Collaboration on Your Team," "Communicating Across Cultures," "Communicating in the Language of Leadership," and "Communicating with Diplomacy and Tact," all obtained in 2022. Sarah also completed a program called "Make Words Matter" in 2020, focused on Implicit Bias, although no degree was specified for this experience.
