Sonia de Luis

Sonia de Luis is a seasoned language professional with extensive experience in translation, correction, and editorial services. Currently serving as a translator and linguistic advisor at Linguaserve since March 2019, Sonia has specifically contributed to the Barcelona City Council project through text correction and translation between Catalan and Spanish. In addition to this role, Sonia operates Scribere (Sonia de Luis – Servicios Lingüísticos) since September 2014, focusing on correction, translation, and writing services. Previous positions include layout and revision for the University of Barcelona's annual Faculty of Philology publication, along with various roles in editing and translation at both Larousse and Loft Publications. Sonia holds multiple degrees in linguistic communication and philology from the University of Barcelona, along with a master's degree in corporate communication, protocol, and events from the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya, and is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in communication at Universitat Pompeu Fabra.
