Marlin Gounden

Marlin Gounden has a diverse work experience in the telecommunications industry. Marlin started their career in 2006 at Neotel, where they held several roles, including Implementation Manager in KZN and Senior Manager for Implementation Fibre South. In 2016, they joined Liquid Telecom as a General Manager for Operations and Implementation, initially for the national division and later for coastal regions. Then, in 2019, they joined Link Africa™ as the Head of Build for KZN. Throughout their career, Marlin has gained expertise in various aspects of telecom operations, implementation, and management.

Marlin Gounden's education history begins in 1985 when they attended Centenary Secondary School and completed their Matriculation (Grade 12). Marlin also obtained a National Diploma in Communication from Sastri College and Booysens CFL in 1989, specializing in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering. In 2000, Marlin attended Technikon SA and earned a Diploma in Human Resources Management, focusing on Human Resources Management and Services. Following this, in 2006, they completed a Managers Development Program at the University of Stellenbosch. Marlin's education journey culminated in 2015 when they obtained a Masters in Business Administration from the Maharishi Institute of Technology, specializing in the same field.
