Joshua Bautell

Joshua Bautell has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Joshua started their career at the US Army in 2002, where they served as a Chief Warrant Officer, fulfilling roles such as a CH-47D Chinook Helicopter Pilot and TUAV Operations Technician. During their time in the army, they took on additional responsibilities as a Battalion S4 (Logistics Officer), Unit Movement Officer, Army Substance Abuse Program Officer, and Operations Security Officer.

In 2010, Joshua joined Kalitta Charters as a Flight Follower. In this role, they provided aircraft charter quotes and coordinated logistics for air ambulance, cargo, and passenger requests. Joshua also maintained communication with customers throughout the charter process, providing updates on departure and arrival times, confirmation of freight, and point of delivery.

During 2016, Joshua worked at both Aero Tech Aviation Design, LLC and Link Engineering Company. At Aero Tech Aviation Design, LLC, they held the position of Junior Engineer for a few months. At Link Engineering Company, they started as a Vehicle Test Engineer and later became a Supervising Engineer. Their responsibilities at Link Engineering Company included supporting all vehicle testing and providing assistance from the quoting phase through data collection and analysis.

Joshua Bautell received their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering from the University of Michigan. Joshua attended the university from 2010 to 2015. In addition to their degree, Joshua obtained a certification as a Commercial Pilot for Rotorcraft Helicopter with Instrument from the Federal Aviation Administration in November 2011.
