Marco Morales

Marco Morales is the Director of Engineering, Suspension Controls at Link Manufacturing. Prior to their current position, Marco worked for World Book from April 1999 to August 2010. Marco's title was Print Promotions and their responsibilities included optimizing and maintaining the procurement, pre-press, manufacturing, and fulfillment processes of the company's sales, marketing and promotional materials. Marco has a keen eye for detail and an up-to-date knowledge of industry technologies, trends and printing techniques which they use to maximize effectiveness while minimizing costs. Marco is a team player who works in collaboration with marketing, art/design, accounting, operations, customer service, IT, and executive sales staff to ensure delivery of quality, effective materials on time and within budget. Marco has also established and maintained strong strategic relationships with vendors to ensure best practice. To expand brand awareness, Marco attends industry trade shows and seminars.

During their time at World Book, Marco made several cost-saving initiatives that had a positive impact on the company. In 2010, they were able to reduce costs by $50,000 by securing a contract with a catalog print supplier possessing state-of-the-art production, lettershop and mailing capabilities. Marco also produced extensive, accurate mailing lists using internal product sales information collected by IT and customer service. To promote green initiatives, Marco incorporated FSC standards into catalog manufacturing process. By introducing variable data and on-demand printing, Marco was able to reduce the lead-time for materials to reach the sales field

Marco Morales has a MA in Visual Communications from Northern Illinois University and a BA in Graphic Design from Columbia College Chicago.

They work with Brian Kujala - VP, Business Development, Chris English - Managing Director, Link Canada, and Mark Zylstra - VP of Manufacturing. Marco Morales reports to Jim Huls, President.
