Dan Asfeld

Dan Asfeld has a diverse and extensive work experience in the engineering field. Dan is currently the Vice President of Engineering & Automation at Jack Link's Protein Snacks, a position they have held since 2021. Prior to this, they worked at General Mills from 2018 to 2021 as the Director of Engineering for Meals/Baking, Yogurt, and Canada Operating Units. Before that, they held roles at Cereal Partners Worldwide (Nestlé & General Mills) from 2014 to 2018, serving as the CPW Global Engineering Director and later as the European Engineering Manager. Dan has also had a long tenure at General Mills from 1992 to 2014, where they held various management positions in engineering and operations, including Engineering Department Manager, Engineering Business Unit Manager, Plant Technical Manager, Operations Business Manager, Engineering Manager for SAP Launch, and Senior Project Manager. Prior to General Mills, they gained experience at Frito Lay from 1985 to 1992 in various positions in field engineering, packaging engineering, process engineering, and project management.

Dan Asfeld earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Minnesota, spanning from 1980 to 1984.
