Hector Rafael Benitez Gonzalez has had an extensive career in the technology industry. Hector Rafael began their career in 1991 as a Senior Programmer at Joven Club de Computación y Electrónica. In 1992, they moved to Central Azucarero (UCINA) Fernando de Dios Tacajo as the Chief Technology Officer, where they were responsible for designing and developing technological systems for the organization. In 1998, they became the CEO of Empresa de Servicios Informáticos DATAZUCAR, where they were responsible for making strategic and organizational decisions. From 2000 to 2006, they served as the National Director of the Central Organism at Ministerio del Azucar. In 2006, they became the CEO of Empresa Nacional de Software de Cuba Desoft, S.A., where they were responsible for making strategic and organizational decisions. In 2008, they became the CEO of Consulnet Software y Telecomunicaciones and in 2011, they became the Co-Founder and CEO of HB Infosystem. In 2016, they became the CEO of Zambia Soluciones, where they were responsible for making strategic and organizational decisions. In 2019, they joined Solinftec as a Project Manager and in 2020, they became the Co-Founder and CTO of LinKapital, a digital platform providing corporate credit in Brazil.
Hector Rafael Benitez Gonzalez completed their Postgrado en Gestion Tecnologica in 1995 from the University of Holguin. Hector Rafael then went on to pursue their Ingeniero Mecanico from Universidad de Holguin which they completed in 2000. In the same year, they also obtained their Diplomatura Matematica aplicada e Informatica para la Administracion from the University of Holguin. Finally, they earned their Profesor Categoria Docente Instructor in Ingeniería informática from the University of Holguin in 2003.
