Sajitha Tharaka Pathirana

Sajitha Tharaka Pathirana has extensive work experience in the field of software development and testing.

Starting in 2012, Sajitha worked as a Software Engineer at Digitel GSM SriLanka, where they developed Phonex, a repair management system. This role allowed them to gain practical experience as a freelancer and develop skills in Java, MySQL, and report generation.

In 2013, Sajitha joined DB7Londonn as a Software Engineer. Here, they were responsible for building an online bidding system for construction workers, from development to production deployment.

From 2014 to 2015, Sajitha worked at Tun Abdul Razak Research Centre as a Software Engineer. In this role, they were involved in the entire software development life cycle, including gathering requirements and proposing ideas for a centralized ERP system.

In 2015, Sajitha joined Koch Industries as a Senior Software Engineer - SDET, where they played a key role in developing Infor's Testing as a Service platform. They also implemented a Post Provisioning Verification process automation and provided training to various teams across Infor.

From 2021 onwards, Sajitha worked at ZorroSign, Inc. as a Lead Automation Engineer - SDET. Their responsibilities included leading automation efforts and ensuring the quality of the company's products.

Currently, in 2022, Sajitha is employed at BICS and Linkare TI as a Software Development Engineer in Test. They continue to contribute their expertise in software testing and development in these roles.

Sajitha Tharaka Pathirana has a Master's degree in Computer Science from Anglia Ruskin University, which was obtained from 2013 to 2014. Prior to this, from 2011 to 2013, Sajitha pursued a Bsc Software Engineer degree in Computer Software Engineering from the Chamber of Chartered Java Professionals International. In terms of certifications, Sajitha is an ISTQB - Foundation Level Certified Tester, obtained in December 2021, and a MongoDB for Java Developer, obtained in March 2015. Additionally, Sajitha holds an Oracle Certified Java Programmer certification acquired in January 2013. Moreover, Sajitha has a Basic Life Rescue certification from the Life Saving Association of Sri Lanka, obtained in April 2001.
