Akhilesh Gupta

Akhilesh Gupta is a Principal Staff Software Engineer at LinkedIn, with a robust background in leading technical teams and architecting innovative solutions. Since joining LinkedIn in April 2016, Gupta has played a crucial role in the development of the LinkedIn Feed and Search, as well as serving as a Technical Lead/Architect for LinkedIn Messaging, Groups, and real-time technologies. Prior experience includes managing engineering teams at Uber, focusing on enhancing the ride experience with various mobile products, and contributing to LinkedIn’s mobile infrastructure and applications across multiple roles from 2011 to 2014. Additionally, Gupta has interned at Google and IBM Research, gaining experience in software engineering and security policies. Gupta holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Stanford University and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.
