Karthik Ramgopal

Karthik Ramgopal is a Distinguished Engineer at LinkedIn, having joined the company in October 2014. With a robust background in full stack development and software architecture, Karthik has led significant projects such as generative AI agents, the next generation tech stack, and gRPC migration. Karthik has also contributed to the design and implementation of LinkedIn Events, video sharing, and GraphQL integration. Prior to LinkedIn, Karthik held senior engineering roles at MaaS360 (IBM) and D. E. Shaw India, focusing on mobile device management and high-performance trading systems, respectively. Karthik began a career in technology with a research internship at INSEAD, specializing in machine learning applications. Karthik holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani.
