Deng-Ruei Tan

Deng-Ruei Tan is a skilled data scientist with extensive experience in computer vision and data analysis. Currently at Linker Vision, Deng-Ruei designs and builds custom deep learning models for various computer vision tasks, enhancing model accuracy through data preprocessing and augmentation. Previously, at Linker Networks Inc., Deng-Ruei improved model accuracy by leveraging insights from LiDAR hardware design and developed data workflows for annotation. As a postdoctoral researcher at the Industrial Technology Research Institute and National Taiwan Normal University, Deng-Ruei focused on Monte Carlo simulations and deep learning models to explore quantum phase transitions and optimize computational resources. Deng-Ruei holds a PhD and a Master's degree in Physics from National Taiwan Normal University, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Physics from National Chung Hsing University.
