Lauren Oesman

Lauren Oesman is an experienced legal professional with a focus on regulatory compliance and corporate law. Currently serving as Deputy Head of Regulatory Compliance at Linklaters LLP since September 2013, Lauren advises on global compliance with laws, regulations, and professional standards while managing legal and risk issues within the firm. Previous roles include Senior Lawyer and Managing Associate, specializing in M&A and corporate governance, particularly related to Africa. Lauren’s background includes legal positions at Citigroup Global Markets Limited and Webber Wentzel, enhancing expertise in international M&A and corporate law. Lauren holds a BA in English and American Literature from the University of Warwick and completed the LPC at The University of Law.
