Alberto Scionti is a Senior Research Scientist at the LINKS Foundation, focusing on High-Performance Computing architectures, Cloud computing systems, and heterogeneous systems programming. In addition to this role, Alberto serves as the Work Package Leader for the LEXIS Project, where contributions to innovative orchestration solutions are made. Previously, Alberto was a Senior Researcher at Istituto Superiore Mario Boella, emphasizing low power and high-performance cloud infrastructures. Alberto has also held academic positions at the University of Siena and Politecnico di Torino, covering topics in programming, parallel computing, and advanced computing architectures. Alberto holds a PhD in Computer Engineering from Politecnico di Torino and has conducted research at institutions such as Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya and TU Delft.
