Elena Masala

Elena Masala is a Senior Researcher at LINKS Foundation, specializing in innovation and knowledge for society since January 2019. Previously, Elena served as a researcher at SiTI - Polytechnic of Turin from 2009 to December 2018, focusing on geo-visualization, 3D modeling, and spatial decision support systems. Elena contributed to various projects, including participation in the COST Action TU1002 and COST Action TU0801 as a member and invited member, respectively. Prior research experience includes work at Politecnico di Torino and PBL Netherlands Environmental Assessment Agency, where Elena focused on visual analytics, urban simulations, and land-use models. Elena holds a Ph.D. in Architecture from Politecnico di Torino and a Master's Degree in Architecture from the same institution.
