Meher Walia is a consultant at Sassenach with a background in business and psychology. She holds a joint MBA/MSW from Washington University in St. Louis and a B.S. in biopsychology, cognition, and neuroscience from the University of Michigan–Ann Arbor. During her academic career, she worked in a variety of laboratory research teams on projects related to neuroscience and brain development in adolescents. She later taught English as a second language in Taiwan, after which she realized her love of traveling through backpacking across Southeast Asia.
