Principal Operations Research Analyst at LinQuest

Chris Collins has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as a Principal Operations Research Analyst at LinQuest. In this position, they collaborate with various stakeholders to develop analysis plans and leads the execution of those plans for the Air Force Manpower Analysis Agency.

Prior to LinQuest, Chris worked as a Senior Data Analyst at Army Futures Command. Additionally, they worked as an Operations Research Analyst at US Army TRADOC, an Assistant Professor of Mathematics at West Point, and a Chief Operations Officer at US Army Recruiting Command.

Furthermore, Chris served as an Operations Manager at the US Army Corps of Engineers, where they managed the operations and maintenance dredging of federal ship channels and executed significant restoration and repair projects post-Hurricane Ike.

Chris Collins graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Factors Engineering. In 2008, they earned a Master of Science degree in Engineering Management from the Missouri University of Science and Technology. Chris later pursued a Master of Science degree in Operations Research from Kansas State University, which they completed in 2015. Chris also holds several certifications, including "Data Science and Big Data Analytics: Making Data-Driven Decisions" from MIT xPRO (obtained in March 2021), a Senior Data Analyst certification from Army Logistics University (obtained in 2014), a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (obtained in 2009), and a Certified Construction Manager (CCM) certification from the Construction Management Association of America (obtained in 2007).
