Liz Leigh-Firbank (PhD, MSc, BSc (Hons))

Liz Leigh-Firbank has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Their most recent position is as the Product Development Manager at Lintbells | Home of YuMOVE since June 2021.

From 2013 to 2021, Liz worked at Ernest Jackson & Co. Limited as a Development Scientist and Nutritionist. Liz Leigh-Firbank has a diverse education history. Liz began their academic journey at the University of Surrey, where they completed their Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree in Nutrition and Food Science from 1987 to 1991. After that, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Analytical Chemistry at the University of Bristol between 1994 and 1995. Subsequently, Liz went on to obtain a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree with a focus on Human Nutrition from the University of Reading, completing their studies from 1996 to 2000.

In 2011 and 2012, they enrolled in the South West Teacher Training (SWTT) program at West Exe Technology College, where they earned a Professional Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) in Chemistry.
