Karl Thompson

Karl Thompson is an experienced data scientist specializing in deep learning and computer vision. Currently serving as Lead Data Scientist at Linus Health since July 2021, Karl also held the position of Senior Data Scientist - Deep Learning at the same company. Previously, Karl worked as a Data Scientist - Computer Vision at Spark Insights from June 2019 to July 2021, and as a Research Assistant at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, focusing on data-driven network optimization and machine learning from August 2017 to June 2019. Earlier career experience includes a role as a Test Engineer at Omnitracs and an Archive Assistant at the Minnesota Population Center.
