Tanya Talkar

Tanya Talkar is a data scientist currently employed at Linus Health since March 2024, with prior experience as a data scientist at Aural Analytics from August 2023 to February 2024. Tanya completed a doctoral program at MIT Lincoln Laboratory, focusing on the detection and characterization of Autism Spectrum Disorder and Parkinson's Disease through analysis of speech and fine-motor coordination. Tanya has also held data science internships at nference, where work involved natural language processing for biomedical text analysis, and at Amazon, improving voice detection for Alexa. Educational credentials include a PhD from Harvard University in Speech and Hearing Biosciences and Technology, as well as a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from MIT. Additional experience includes internships at Cisco Meraki, Microsoft, POPSUGAR, and research work at the MIT Chemical Engineering Department.
