Omara Williams

Omara Williams is a seasoned software engineering professional with extensive experience in managing software development teams and projects. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineering Manager at Linx Printing Technologies since January 2017, Williams has cultivated expertise in C++, Embedded Linux, QT, and various other technologies, coupled with a strong background in Agile methodologies as a Scrum Master. Prior to this role, Williams held positions at Xennia Technology as a Software Development Manager, and at GlaxoSmithKline and Perkin Elmer as a Technical Lead and Applications Development Manager, focusing on customized software solutions for the pharmaceutical industry. With a foundational background as a Senior Architect at Accelrys and early experiences in programming and research, Williams holds a diploma in Information Systems Modelling from the University of Leeds and a Bachelor of Science Honours in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Havana.
