Jo Sawford

Jo Sawford has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. They started their career as an Office Worker at Erith Haulage in 1997. In 1999, they became a Class Teacher at Palace Wood Infant School, where they worked until 2003. Jo then joined Hardwick Infant School as a Class Teacher and Literacy Lead from 2003 to 2005. They continued their work at the same school as a SENCo from 2005 to 2016. In 2014, Jo joined Olympic Primary School as an Inclusion Leader until 2017. Currently, Jo is working at Lion Academy Trust as an Assistant Head of School starting from 2017.

Jo Sawford attended York St. John University from 1994 to 1997, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geography & Applied Social Science. Following that, they pursued further education at the University of Northampton from 1998 to 1999 and obtained a Post Graduate Certificate in Education, specializing in Primary 4-12.
