Angela Conte

Angela Conte has over 30 years of extensive work experience in the field of Information Technology. Angela is currently serving as the Information Technology Applications Director at Lion Electric since November 2021. Prior to this, Angela worked as a Project Manager at Levio from October 2020 to November 2021.

From 2011 to 2020, Angela held various managerial positions at the National Bank of Canada. Angela started as a Manager in Development Services Management (DSEIIA) from April 2011 to March 2012. Angela then served as the Manager of IT Delivery for Personal, Commercial, Marketing, and Operations from March 2012 to October 2016. Angela climbed up the ladder and became the Senior Manager of Digital Solutions Delivery, where they managed IT delivery solutions for the Web and Mobile Digital Channel for Retail Banking using Agile Scrum methodology. From March 2019 to October 2020, they served as the Senior Manager of Atlassian Tools, Infrastructure, and Operations Transformation.

In their earlier career, Angela worked as the IT Application Management Services Manager at Cogeco Cable from March 2004 to March 2011. Angela was responsible for managing critical billing and Internet telephony provisioning applications. Angela also acted as a project director for small and medium-sized projects during this time and ensured compliance with controls.

Before Cogeco Cable, Angela worked as an IT Consultant in the Financial Services Group at CGI. Angela'srole involved being a Senior Business Analyst and Coordinator for major project mandates in brokerage and banking institutions. Angela worked at CGI from September 1996 to February 2004.

Angela's career began at Equifax Canada in September 1987, where they started as a Programming Analyst. Angela was later promoted to Analyst and then to a supervisory role. At Equifax Canada, Angela was involved in scheduling and managing application changes, functional analysis, and development for credit and insurance information systems.

In 1996, Angela briefly worked as an Analyst at Imprimeries Transcontinental before joining CGI.

Angela Conte completed a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Concordia University from 2005 to 2013. Prior to that, they obtained a Certificate in Information Management Systems from McGill University from 1991 to 1994. Angela also earned a D.E.C. in Computer Science from Champlain Regional College from 1984 to 1987. Additionally, they hold certifications as a Certified SAFe® 5 Agilist and Certified SAFe® 4 Agilist from Scaled Agile, Inc. Angela also has a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
