Francois Duval

Francois Duval has extensive work experience as a Design Director, with roles at Lion Electric, BRP, and Gad Shaanan Design. Francois also served as a Chargé de cours / Lecturer at Université de Montréal. Prior to their director roles, they worked as an Industrial Designer at JFS Design Inc and as a Corporal Section Instructor in the Canadian Armed Forces. Duval's expertise includes design innovation, ergonomics, implementation of design for manufacturing standards, and understanding of manufacturing processes and materials.

Francois Duval has a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design from the Université de Montréal, which they obtained from 1989 to 1993. In 1992, they participated in a Session Program in Industrial Design at ECAL - Ecole cantonale d’art de Lausanne. Prior to that, from 1982 to 1986, they earned a College Degree in Industrial and Product Design from Cegep du Vieux Montreal. Additionally, Francois has obtained certifications in Avalanche Safety Training AST1 from Avalanche Canada and a NAUI Scuba Diving Certification from NAUI.
