Kilian O'Brien

Kilian O'Brien is a finance professional with extensive experience in accounting and financial management. Currently serving as a Senior Financial Accountant at Lion since April 2024, Kilian previously held the position of Financial Controller for DCC Vital's UK medical device business, driving financial excellence and overseeing the organization’s financial health from May 2020 to April 2024. Prior to that, Kilian worked as a Group Accountant at DCC Vital, managing month-end reporting and statutory accounts. Kilian began a career at KPMG Ireland, where as a Financial Services Audit Senior from September 2016 to May 2020, advanced expertise was gained in preparing and reviewing financial statements in alignment with various accounting standards. Educational background includes a degree in Biochemistry from Trinity College Dublin and qualifications from Chartered Accountants Ireland.
