Sarah Abbott

Sarah Abbott serves as the Global Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Leader at Lion since January 2021, building on a substantial background in diversity and inclusion leadership across various sectors. Previously, Sarah held the position of Head of Diversity, Leadership and Inclusion at the University of Sydney from August 2017 to January 2021, and served as Senior Manager for Group Diversity and Inclusion at Commonwealth Bank between January 2014 and August 2017, where Sarah received the FY16 Annual Individual HR CEO Award. Sarah's career at Microsoft from May 2007 to December 2013 included significant roles such as Global Gender Diversity Manager, where achievements included the development of a Part-time/Job Share strategy and the management of a global Women’s Mentoring Program. Educational credentials include a Masters in Adult Education from the University of Technology Sydney, a Masters in Commerce from UNSW, and a Bachelor in Business from the University of Adelaide.
