Courtney Willis is R/A's first VP of DEIB (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Belonging) & Culture.
Courtney has been with R/A for over 19 years, and during her tenure has worked in all components of the business, giving her a unique perspective on how she can support the diversity and culture of the company from many angles. Before stepping into this newly created role, Courtney served as Regional Director of Operations while co-chairing the Diversity & Inclusion Action Council [DIAC] and the Race Equity Advocacy Council task force. Courtney has worked in a variety of positions at R/A and touched multiple lines of business ranging from museums and performing arts centers to corporate dining with the company. Courtney has a BA from Clark Atlanta University and a Master's degree from Cornell University's School of Hospitality Management.
Before moving into this new role, Courtney was focused on bringing diversity, equity, and inclusion to the forefront of R/A's company culture. She worked with tech-enabled DEI to change the management platform, Reframe, to develop R/A's cultural transformation strategy, and created the company's first employee resource group, Black Voices, focused on building an inclusive employee experience for everyone.
