Jan Svoboda

Jan Svoboda is an experienced linguist and translator with a comprehensive background in language services, currently serving as a freelance linguist at Lionbridge since January 2023 and as a freelance translator/editor/revisor at Acolad Group since January 2021. Jan has a long-standing relationship with AMPLEXOR International since May 2008, providing translation and revision services across multiple offices in various European cities. Previous experience includes a decade-long role as a translator at Jazykový cit, alongside a position as an attaché assistant at the Turkish Embassy in Prague, where responsibilities encompassed translation, interpretation, and office administration. Jan holds a Master's degree in English Language and Literature from Masaryk University Brno and has a solid foundation in tourism services and English language studies.
