Jisu Kim

Jisu Kim is an experienced language professional with a strong background in Korean-English translation and interpretation. Currently serving as an Over-the-phone Korean Interpreter at Lionbridge since January 2024, Jisu provides high-quality consecutive interpretation services and customer support. In addition, Jisu has been a Korean to English Language Specialist at Gengo since January 2022, assessing translation quality and evaluating new linguists. As a Korean to English Translator at GloZ Inc. since April 2021, Jisu translates and transcreates various media while ensuring compliance with client guidelines. Previous roles include guiding meditation sessions at Meditation USA and teaching English at Sanbon Elementary School. Jisu holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Rochester and participated in the IES Beijing Study Abroad Program at Beijing Foreign Studies University, focusing on Chinese language, government, and philosophy.
