Mr Loengard has over a quarter century of experience in technology and business, with the last decade spent at the intersection of software and business strategy. Mr Loengard has been involved with software product application development for over two decades. He has held the position of programmer, management consultant, CTO for startups, CEO and entrepreneur. He has led Lioncom for over ten years as its CEO, leading seven-figure-plus product initiatives and advising others on theirs, including early investors in Skype. As a principal, he currently works with numerous software/hardware startups in the financial, consumer, and technology verticals. He gained hands-on and wide experience with a range of technology systems during earlier ventures and positions, including training as a naval fighter pilot, trading currency at the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce, designing and programming large systems at media companies, and developing software application-centric entrepreneurial ventures. Mr Loengard holds a BA from Columbia University. He has additionally pursued graduate studies in computer science, mechanical engineering, math and finance at Columbia and Stanford Universities. Mr Loengard is a strong proponent of curious inquiry and lifelong learning, irregardless of skill level. He has served as a technology adviser to Columbia’s School of General Studies.
