Katja Brunner

Katja Brunner serves as the Director of Legal & Regulatory at Swiss Sustainable Finance since 2021 and is the founding president of the LIONS Club Bern Einstein. Previously, Katja Brunner held positions such as Senior Legal Counsel at Asset Management Association Switzerland from 2018 to 2021 and Senior Manager of Regulatory & Compliance Services at PwC between 2017 and 2018. From 2014 to 2016, Katja Brunner was the Deputy Head of Regulatory & Projects at Notenstein La Roche Privatbank AG. Significant experience includes serving as Head of Proceedings Enforcement at Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority FINMA and Deputy Head of the Legal Service II and Legal Counsel at the Federal Department of Finance. Early career highlights include legal counsel at SECO Swiss State Secretary for Economic Affairs. Academic qualifications include admission to the Geneva State Bar and a law degree from the Universities of Lausanne and Geneva.
