Gary Atkinson

Mr. Atkinson has more than 25 years of financial management experience in the life science industry. He has served as the Chief Financial Officer of Viracta Therapeutics, Inc., from 2017 to 2019. He currently serves as a Director of Zylo Therapeutics, Inc, a private drug delivery company. From 2005 through 2016 he served as the Chief Financial Officer of Lpath, Inc. a Nasdaq-listed biopharmaceutical company. He also served as the interim Chief Executive Officer of Lpath from 2015 to 2016. Prior to joining Lpath, Mr. Atkinson served, from 2001 to 2005, as the Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Quorex Pharmaceuticals, Inc, a private drug discovery company. From 1995 to 2000 he served as Vice President - Finance of Ionis Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (then known as Isis Pharmaceuticals), a publicly held pharmaceutical research and development company. He began his career with Ernst & Young, where he earned his CPA certification. Mr. Atkinson is a graduate of Brigham Young University.
