Michela Campagna

Michela Campagna is a product manager and researcher at LipoCoat BV since December 2017, specializing in the development of novel biocompatible coatings for healthcare applications. These ultrathin coatings, designed to mimic human cell membranes, are utilized on medical devices to reduce infection risks and enhance patient comfort. Prior to this role, Michela completed a master assignment at the Universiteit Twente in June 2016, focusing on the development of an on-chip method for detecting human DNA in crime scene samples. This project involved isothermal amplification reactions, PCR, gel electrophoresis, and fluorescence detection techniques. Michela holds a Laurea Magistrale in Biomedical Engineering and a Laurea in Clinical Engineering from Sapienza Università di Roma.
