Galyna Grynkiv

Galyna Grynkiv has a diverse range of work experience, starting with an AI/ML Researcher role at Liquid Analytics from September 2019 to present. Prior to that, they worked as a Quantitative Researcher at Western University from January 2019 to August 2019. Galyna also has extensive experience at Western University, where they served as a Teacher Assistant and pursued a PhD in Financial Econometrics from September 2012 to September 2018. During this time, they also worked as a Research Analyst from May 2014 to August 2014. Galyna worked briefly as a Research Analyst at Ivey Business School at Western University from January 2015 to May 2015. Before their time at Western University, Galyna held a position as a Business Consultant/Analyst at 4i Consulting Group from March 2011 to August 2012. Galyna also worked as a Research Analyst at CAPCP from 2009 to 2010. Galyna began their career as a Teacher Assistant at Kyiv School of Economics from September 2008 to July 2009, while also interning at Citi from July 2008 to October 2008.

Galyna Grynkiv completed their Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Mathematics and Statistics at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv from 2002 to 2008. Galyna then pursued a Master's degree in Financial Economics at Kyiv School of Economics from 2007 to 2009. In 2009, they also completed a Master of Arts degree in Economics at the University of Houston. Finally, they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Financial Econometrics from Western University, where they studied from 2012 to 2018.
