Alan Akin has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Alan worked as the Director of Treatment Operations for Liquid Environmental Solutions starting in 2024. Prior to that, they served as the SVP of Business Operations at BioVeritas from 2021 to 2023. Alan was the Vice President of Operations at Momentum Glass, a private equity portfolio company, from 2020 to 2021. Alan also held the position of Vice President of Business Operations at Hatfield and Company, Inc. from 2018 to 2020 and Director of Gulf Coast Operations from 2012 to 2018. Alan's earlier roles include Global Manufacturing & Supply Chain at PV Fluid Products, Plant Manager Recyclable Coated Products at Corrugated Services, and Project Manager at Applied Materials. Alan began their career at Temple-Inland, where they held various roles such as Process Engineer, Shift Supervisor, and Coating Plant Manager from 1991 to 2000.
Alan Akin earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Texas A&M University in 1991. Alan later attended Mays Business School at Texas A&M University, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from 1999 to 2001.
