Matthew began their career in 2008 as the Head Cashier at The Home Depot, where they were responsible for managing front-end staff, providing efficient customer service, opening new credit accounts, and more. In 2009, they joined Sally Ride Science as a Curriculum Sales Specialist, where they were the no. 1 sales representative every quarter, sold over $100K in direct sales and corporate sponsorships, and helped launch a new curriculum package for K-8 STEM teachers. In 2012, they moved to Pearson as an eLearning Developer. From 2015 to 2017, they worked at multiple companies, including WOW! as a Social Media Copywriter, Teacher Created Materials as an Author of "19th Century Innovations: Paving the Way", BD as a Creative Copywriter, and Hunter Industries as a Creative Copy Manager and Copywriter. Since 2022, they have been working at Liquid Instruments as the Marketing Communications Manager.
Matthew McArdle earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Biology and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Psychology from UC San Diego between 2004 and 2009. In 2018-2019, they completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing from The University of Arizona Global Campus. Additionally, they obtained a Medical Terminology certification from Coastline Regional Occupational Program in June 2003, and a Wrike Bronze Certification from Wrike in March 2021.
