Rodrigo R. Coelho

Rodrigo R. Coelho has a strong background in software development and Agile project management. Rodrigo has worked in various roles and companies throughout their career.

Coelho began their career as a Research and Development intern at Fraunhofer IPT in Germany, where they learned about MATLAB and optimized a graphical generator system. Rodrigo also documented data retrieved from a precision polymer injection machine.

Rodrigo then worked as a Software Development Intern at the Knowledge Engineering Laboratory - UFSC, where they gained hands-on experience in software development.

Coelho joined Marine Cybernetics as a Software Developer, contributing to various software development projects.

Next, Coelho joined Dígitro Tecnologia as a Senior Software Developer, where they analyzed and developed a high-complexity system for security public services. Rodrigo also developed automated tests in JUnit.

Coelho's next position was at Softplan Planejamento de Sistemas LTDA, where they served as a Software Developer and later as a Software Development Manager. In these roles, they represented the department on a project to develop BPMN software, developed a web software to manage judicial resources, and acted as a Scrum Master during the project development. Rodrigo also prioritized activities and tasks of the teams and assisted in the implementation of SAFe.

Most recently, Coelho has been working at LiquidAgents Healthcare as a Technical Agile Team Lead and Director of Software Engineering. In these roles, they were responsible for increasing the frequency of deployments by migrating the team from Scrum to Kanban and establishing WIP limits. Rodrigo also specified and prioritized tasks using Jira and trained the team in agile principles.

Rodrigo R. Coelho obtained a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina from 2007 to 2012. In addition, they have obtained the Scaled Agile Framework Practitioner (SP) Certification from Scaled Agile, Inc. in September 2015, the Certified ScrumMaster Certification from Scrum Alliance in November 2014, and the Oracle Certified Associate, Java SE 7 Programmer Certification from Oracle in 2014.
