Gareth Gwyn

Gareth Gwyn has extensive work experience in the medical and pharmaceutical industry. Gareth currently holds the position of Vice President of Medical Affairs at Liquidia Corporation, a role they have held since 2023. Prior to this, Gareth served as the Senior Director of Medical Affairs at Altavant Sciences from 2022 to 2023.

From 2020 to 2022, Gareth worked as the National Director of Clinical Trial Liaisons at Theravance Biopharma. Before that, they held various positions at Reata Pharmaceuticals, Inc., including Global Senior Director of Cardiopulmonary Development from 2019 to 2020 and Global Director of Cardiopulmonary Development from 2016 to 2020.

Gareth's previous roles also include Deputy Director of Thoughtleader Development and Advocacy Relations at Bayer from 2013 to 2015, Chief Advancement Officer at The Ohio State University from 2012 to 2013, and Senior Director of Corporate Affairs at Actelion from 2009 to 2011.

Prior to that, Gareth worked at Encysive Pharmaceuticals, where they held multiple roles, including Business Development from 2004 to 2010, GM of the Nordic Region from 2007 to 2009, Director of Medical Affairs from 2005 to 2006, and Director of Training and Development from 2004 to 2005.

Gareth's earlier experience includes a role as the Manager of Specialty Distribution at curascript in 2002, and sales positions at Schering from 1994 to 2002.

Gareth Gwyn completed their undergraduate education from 1982 to 1986 at Dalhousie University. Gareth pursued a Bachelor of Science (Honors) degree with a specialization in Microbiology during this time.
