Ben Southall

Ben Southall worked as the Head of Execution Strategies at Liquidnet from August 2018. Prior to that, they held the position of Head of Algo Trading Strategy at Berenberg from September 2014 to August 2018. Before joining Berenberg, they worked at ITG as a Quantitative Analyst and Product Manager, VP - Algorithmic Trading from January 2011 to June 2013. Lastly, they worked at Man Investments, first as a Graduate in the Quantitative Stream from October 2006 to March 2008, and later as a Quantitative Analysis, Product Modelling from April 2008 to December 2010.

Ben Southall completed their Bachelor of Business Science degree in Economics at the University of Cape Town from 2000 to 2003. Ben then pursued a Master's degree in Finance at the University of Bath, which they completed between 2005 and 2006. Finally, they obtained another Master's degree in Applied Statistics from Birkbeck, University of London, studying from 2010 to 2012.
