James Whitehead

James Whitehead has extensive work experience in the financial industry. James began their career at Morgan Stanley in 2000, where they held various roles including Trade Support Analyst, Client Relationship Manager, and Equity Sales Trader. In 2009, they joined Olivetree Financial Group as a Sales Trader, Director. From 2014 to 2017, they worked as a Sales Director at OTAS Technologies. James then moved to Liquidnet in 2017, where they held positions such as Head of EMEA Trade Coverage, Trade Coverage / Relationship Manager, and EMEA Head of Trader Analytics. During their time at Liquidnet, they were responsible for developing and enhancing Liquidnet's execution products, working globally with key stakeholders and clients to increase revenues. James's most recent role at Liquidnet is EMEA Head of Block Coverage Desk, which they started in December 2021.

James Whitehead attended Wales High School in Sheffield from 1990 to 1997. James did not obtain a degree nor did they declare a specific field of study during this time. Following their high school education, James enrolled in the University of Sheffield from 1997 to 2000. James completed a bachelor's degree in Accounting and Financial Management and Mathematics, with a specific focus on mathematics.
