Jim Swanson

Jim Swanson is the current VP of Engineering at LiquidSpace. Jim has over 10 years of experience in the software engineering field, with a focus on application architecture and design. Jim has worked with companies such as Thomson Reuters, Landis+Gyr, Target, Pearson Assessments, and Freemind Solutions. Jim has led multiple offshore teams in the creation of software designs, and has helped improve the development process for many organizations. Jim is well-versed in multiple programming languages and software platforms, including .NET 3.0, WCF, Fair Isaac Blaze Rules Engine, and Dash Optimization Engine.

Jim Swanson's educational career began with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Minnesota, where they also minored in Computer Science. Jim then went on to earn their Master of Science in Software Engineering from the University of St. Thomas. Jim Swanson is currently working towards their PhD in Mechanical Engineering at Boston University.
