Vishal Mody

Vishal Mody has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Vishal is currently the Chief Technology Officer at LiquiLoans since April 2021, where they previously held the position of Vice President from August 2019 to April 2021.

Before joining LiquiLoans, Vishal worked at Citadel from May 2016 to June 2019 as a Senior Software Developer. Vishal was responsible for designing and implementing core trading components and working on market data/order entry sessions. Prior to this, they worked as a Software Developer from May 2014 to May 2016 and as a Financial Technology Associate from February 2013 to May 2014.

Vishal also has experience as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Carnegie Mellon University from August 2012 to December 2012. Vishal'sresponsibilities included correcting programming assignments and exams for graduate students, as well as conducting office hours and recitations to help them with any doubts.

Additionally, Vishal held an internship position as a Financial Technology Associate at Citadel Investment Group from June 2012 to August 2012. During this time, they developed a testing framework for execution services using C++ and Python, as well as a recursive descent parser generator to verify XML correctness.

Vishal's earlier experience includes working as a Systems Engineer at Infosys from August 2009 to May 2011. Vishal was involved in trade capture data services, where they wrote code for parsers of flat files, set up projects for web services, and wrote code for various web services.

Vishal Mody obtained a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computers from Mumbai University between 2005 and 2009. Vishal later pursued a Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University from 2011 to 2012.
