Paula Hulley has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Paula most recently served as the Managing Director for Digitas Liquorice, starting in 2023. Prior to this, they founded and led their own company called Futureboard.online, where they offered strategic soundboarding and planning sessions. Paula also has experience as the CEO of IAB from 2018 to 2022 and as the Innovation & Digital Director at Ogilvy from 2017 to 2018. Paula has held various leadership roles throughout their career, including Managing Director at gloo@ogilvy, Deputy Managing Director at Gloo, and Head of Events at Goodski Sports Marketing. Paula's early career includes positions such as Sales and Marketing Executive at SPEEDO South Africa, Marketing Co-ordinator at SHAPE Magazine, and Project Manager at Brand ID in London.

Paula Hulley completed their education with a Masters in Psychology from UNISA in 2022. Prior to that, they obtained an Honours degree in Psychology from UNISA in 2000. In 1998, they graduated from Stellenbosch University with a BA degree in Psychology and Sports Science. Paula also had a brief education experience at RED & YELLOW OGILVY in 1995, where they studied Copywriting. In 1994, they attended the University of Nevada-Las Vegas to pursue a degree in Advertising.
