Bo Martin

Bo Martin began their career in 1988 as a Senior Systems Analyst at SAIC. During their time there, they worked on the SEI-CMM level 3 Software Process Improvement Team. In 2006, Bo joined Scripps Networks Interactive as a Senior Software Engineer, then Solutions Architect, and then Senior Software Engineer again. In 2018, Bo joined Lirio as a Director of Software Engineering, responsible for the execution and improvement of software engineering processes and best practices. Bo also held the role of Software Engineering Manager, where they acquired talented software engineers to build and support web applications. As a Lead Software Engineer, Bo launched and led Apps Squad scrum team, and introduced sprint reviews and SAFe program increment planning processes. Finally, as a Senior Software Engineer, Bo designed and documented the Lirio Core Platform distributed system.

Bo Martin attended Oak Ridge High School from 1981 to 1984. Bo then attended the University of Tennessee, Knoxville from 1984 to 1988, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
